You can see your current status in the little window at the lower-right. This will tell you how much prestige you have acquired, how much gold (in ounces) you have deposited (not how much is in your pack), and how fast you are going. "Thermometer" bars will also tell you how healthy you are, how hungry you are, and how much weight you are carrying.
